Interior Specialist

Helping homeowners make informed decisions before the renovations begin.

I work for you - the homeowner - to advise and assist you with your renovation projects. After 18+ years in construction, I transitioned my business to protect customers from shoddy repairs or overly costly renovations. My goal is to provide peace of mind and help you navigate one of life’s more aggravating experiences. Every space has the potential to be extraordinary - sometimes the simplest changes have enormous impact. I strive to create spaces that bring together thoughtful and efficient design not only in principle, but in practice. From simple kitchen or bath renovations to an entire home, I approach every project with a commitment to do what’s in the best interest of the customer, not the contractor.

Process

Pre-Construction

Renovations can be a nightmare. Marriages have shattered because of never ending renovations and blown budgets. My goal is to prepare you before the renovations begin and prevent issues before they start.

The cost for a 90-minute walk through, site evaluation, and Q&A session is $175. This includes visually reviewing the electrical service, plumbing, and general conditions. Design ideas and recommendations are included. Additional time is $150 per hour.

Construction

I can assist selecting a vendor (i.e., research, contracts, terms, payments, insurance, etc.) however I do not give referrals and maintain an ‘arm’s length’ relationship with suppliers.

Issue with a sub or workmanship? Happy to review the situation and quickly find a solution. Problem solving is key and time is money.

Post Construction

I’ll conduct a thorough walk through to prepare the punch list for your GC, subs or vendors and help safeguard your investment.

Quality, Time & Cost

Quality, Time & Cost

In a perfect world all three points are attainable in a renovation project. The reality, however, is when you try to save on one corner it negatively impacts the two remaining corners.
